ABOUT THE EVENT
This floating sound bath is an invitation to slow down and tune into the quieter energy of February, a month that lives in between. Winter hasn’t quite released its hold, yet the pull toward spring is beginning beneath the surface.
Think of this evening as a pause… a warm, steady space to soften into, even in the middle of winter.
You’ll float on a water hammock or air mattress while crystal singing bowls and other instruments create waves of sound that move through the space and across the water. The frequencies are felt throughout the body, encouraging a sense of ease, grounding, and connection, much like the collective calm of a yoga class, where everyone has their own experience within a shared rhythm.
I’ll begin by offering a brief orientation to the evening and an intention rooted in the season. From there, you’re free to simply float and receive the sound in whatever way feels right for you.
This Valentine’s edition isn’t about romance or emotion alone. Love here is a frequency, the warmth that exists even in winter, the steady presence of water in its slower form, and the quiet support of the earth as it rests beneath the surface. It can look like breathing deeply, softening, and allowing yourself to rest. February is a time for gentle warmth, creativity, and quiet renewal. Whether you arrive solo or with someone else, the experience meets you where you are.
✨ We’ll close the evening with a warm Valentine-inspired treat, a small ritual to help you transition out of the water and carry the grounded, open energy of the evening with you.
What to know before you arrive "Checklist":

Optional: something to tuck under your knees so your hips & low back can relax fully
If you’re floating in the heated pool with a water hammock (or wading in):
Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little wet, or a swimsuit
There is a private "locker room/changing area/ restroom" with direct access to the pool
Bring a towel + change of clothes
