Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. To keep the schedule fair and consistent for all clients, a minimum 48-hour notice is required for any cancellations or rescheduling. Changes made within 48 hours, are charged at 100% of the service to the card on file (required to book). Repeated last-minute changes or chronic rescheduling may result in booking limitations.
Clients are encouraged to arrive about five minutes early for a brief check-in. Late arrivals will still end at the original scheduled time and are charged in full. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be canceled and charged at 100%. Ongoing lateness may also result in future appointments being declined.
Frequently Asked Questions
Booking & Scheduling:
-
The quickest and easiest way to book is online through my scheduling page.
You’ll be able to see real-time availability, choose your service, and complete your intake form all in one place. If technology isn’t your thing or you’re having trouble, you’re always welcome to reach out and I’m happy to help you book. Just note that a card on file is still required to reserve your appointment. Filling out your intake form in advance is preferred, but I can also help you complete it in person if needed.
Booking online saves time during your visit and helps your session start more smoothly.
-
Members receive extended booking access and are able to schedule as far out on the calendar as availability is posted — typically up to three months at a time. This is one of the core benefits of membership and helps ensure consistent preferred appointment times.
Non-members can usually book up to 30 days in advance.
This structure allows me to prioritize those who commit to ongoing care while still welcoming new and returning clients. -
If it’s your first visit, arriving about 10–15 minutes early is perfect. It gives us time to connect, review your intake, and help you settle in without feeling rushed.
For returning clients, 5–10 minutes early is plenty.
You’re always welcome to relax in the lobby with tea if you arrive ahead of time. Sessions still begin and end at their scheduled time so each client receives their full session. Arriving early doesn’t typically mean we’ll start early, but it does give you a moment to unwind before we begin.
-
The treatment room is generally reserved for the massage therapist and the client receiving the session so the space can remain quiet, private, and fully focused on your experience.
If you have a medical, mobility, or support-related need, accommodations can absolutely be discussed ahead of time. Otherwise, friends or family are welcome to relax in the lobby during your appointment.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
(Policy stated above)
-
If you’re feeling under the weather, have a fever, or notice new cold- or flu-like symptoms, please reschedule your appointment. Massage is most beneficial when your body isn’t actively fighting illness, and this also helps protect the health of everyone in the space.
If signs of illness are present at arrival, the session will need to be declined.
Rescheduling and cancellation guidelines are outlined in the confirmation email and policy page shared at booking. -
Honeybee Massage prioritizes the safety of both clients and therapist. Severe weather and road conditions can create unexpected challenges, and your wellbeing always comes first.
If the forecast is predicting significant or hazardous weather, clients are encouraged to plan ahead and consider rescheduling with at least 48 hours’ notice whenever possible.
In situations where appointments are canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice due to weather, the standard cancellation policy may still apply. This is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
If a cancellation or rescheduling fee is charged as a result of inclement weather, that fee may be transferred one time toward a future appointment scheduled within 30 days.
-
If you’re running behind, a quick text or call is always appreciated so I know you’re on your way.
When possible, we’ll still move forward with the appointment.
Sessions, however, still end at their originally scheduled time so the day stays on track for everyone. This means a shortened session may occur while the original service time and rate remain the same.If arrival is significantly delayed, the appointment may need to be canceled in accordance with the Late Policy shared at booking. Repeated or excessive lateness can also affect future scheduling availability.
